Hey guys, have you ever heard of an advice column named Dear Abby? It used to be really popular a long time ago, and is still running today, although the original person who created it passed away already. Well theres some new student coming into the Media Class, and I will tell you the top three advices I would give them.
For my first advice I am going to say that it's best if you follow the recommended due dates, to help pace your self. But I feel it would be even better, if you could to turn it in before the due date. This is because you can make corrections to your video before you have to turn it in, and it can mean the difference of advancing up a letter grade. So this is my first recommended advice to the newbies that are coming in.
My second advice for you newbies is that you listen to you instructors. This is because they will be your main guide in helping you succeed in this class, even if they may seem unreasonable at some points, it should be because they are trying to help you grow and learn. This is my second top recommendation to the newbies that are coming in.
My last of my top three advices that I wanted to give you is that, you should try to enjoy the class, but also try not to be too relaxed in the class. This will help you stay calm even during the most stressful of times, it will clear you mind and help you work, and allow you to work faster. So in a sense it improves how much you are capable of doing, in how much time, and under how much or what type of pressure.
In conclusion you should try to rely on others to help you learn, and you should try to work above and beyond in the assignments you are assigned, but also try not to be to stressed or too relaxed, as too much of either can affect how much work your able to do. These are my top three advices for the newbies that are coming into the class.
