So my overall impression of the crazy 8's Practice was all right. I felt there was tons of walking in order to get an interview, but it mostly felt like a news story like we did in quarter 1 and 2. So overall I think it was a decent practice, for our first and last time. Also the one thing I liked the most was watching the film crews videos. It may have been kinda creepy but I think it was a good video. So that was my overall impression of the Crazy 8's practice.
Some positives things that happened during the Crazy 8's practice was that I got to work with a new group. This allowed me to bond with new people in our class, and this will allow me to work more efficiently with them and probably work faster. This is some of the positive things that are happened during the Crazy 8's Practice. So that is what I thought the positives things were.
There wasn't much negative things that happened, in fact there was only one bad thing that happened. To me the one bad thing that happened was that we weren't able to find our mini news story fast enough, so towards the end we had to rush a lot. To me that was the only bad thing that really happened. So basically there wasn't very much negative things that happened, and that was really good.
But in order to be in the safe zone, we still need to improve greatly. One thing that I think we need to improve is how fast we are able to get our story in order to add it to the news story. Another thing that I think we need to do is give our editors of the overall video more time to edit so they can edit out all of the bugs like being over the time limit for the video.
To sum this up, I feel that our practice was decent for the Broadcast team, even though there were some negative things that happened, and things that we need to improve like giving our editors on the whole entire video more time to edit. Thats how I think this practice went, with the negatives and positives.
