Hey guys just saw the Angry birds trailer for the movie. It looked so funny. But getting to how I liked the trailer. They had a great use of close-ups to show emotion like when the red angry bird thought that the girl birds wanted to see him but it was the bird above him. They also used the close-up with anger to show his emotion after the girl birds. But they used great use of wides too, to show where he kicked a small bird when he got angry at it. The baby bird went flying into the ocean. But there use of mediums was to show him walking and his location so you have a better understanding of where he is. Well thats the movie trailer.
Hi Everyone! You already know that I'm in a media productions group, and every year we get to go to a competition called the STN. The STN competition changes locations every year. This year it will be held at Atlanta Georgia. But right now I feel like I'm not good enough to perticipate in the STN competition right now. So instead I will talk to you about when i had to learn something new. The one thing that I had to learn and proved difficult was how to COOK! There are many different steps in order to be able to cook.
The first way I had a hard time learning to cook was one of the steps that are necessary to cooking which I had a hard time learning was prepping all the ingredients for the meal and also the utensils. I had a hard time with this because I could not remember what Ingredients needed. This was fatal in the world of cooking because if you needed a certain ingredient to cook the meal and you forgot to get it the meal would be ruined. Thats one reason why cooking proved to be difficult for me.
Yet another way I had a hard time learning to cook was because I lacked another necessary step to cooking. It is to pay attention on what your making. This step was hard for me because when I was younger I couldn't pay attention no matter what. I would be like a dog getting distracted by a squirrel. This is also fatal in the world of cooking because if you don't pay attention to what your cooking then you could burn whatever your cooking and the meal would also be ruined. Thats why me not being able to pay attention a lot of the time when I was younger made it difficult for me to learn how to cook.
Finally the last reason why learning to cook was so difficult was because I lacked being able to clean up after my self. So this was bad because after I cooked I didn't clean up after my self, making it where after I cooked no one would be able to do anything in the kitchen. Like cooking the next mean or simply washing their hands. Making this even worse though every time I would get reminded of this it wouldn't stick to me head no matter what. Then making this one of the most important and necessary steps in cooking. Thats the last and final reason why I had such a hard time learning how to cook.
To sum it up the reason why I had such a hard time learning to cook was because of those three reasons I said earlier. Not being able to prep for the meal, getting easily distracted, and forgetting to clean up after my self. This why I had suck a hard time learning how to cook when I was younger.
Hey guys I just saw this cool movie trailer. The Martian is about a man who gets stuck on mars and in order to survive he starts to grow his own food. But getting to what I liked. I licked there use of close ups and mediums to show body movement and facial expression. But I also like there angled wide shots to show the space craft but at a angle to show where he is headed. Or to show his location. But I also like the plot where they show that the person who is stuck on mars because of a meteor shower hitting mars forcing a evacuation but the man gets stuck and his team leave him. But when they find evidence that he is alive there is a huge debate on whether they should get him or not. So its a good show and you should
Hey guys going back and looking over my first quarter in the media productions class, I had lots of fun. Especially when we went camping at the Kokee Discovery center. But over this quarter I did lots of things like my radios and doing my first quarter project. But the one assignment that really tricked me into thinking it was easy was the radio's. I thought it was just making a script and then recording my voice and handing it over to my teacher. But I was wrong! It takes tons of editing, recording, devotion and time. If you mess up on one of those your back to editing and you are yet again pushed back on your progress.
The first way how the radio looked easy to do was just typing out what to say. I thought it would be so easy just typing out what I was going to say. But I was mistaken, it was the exact opposite though. It was really challenging, you had to have the correct grammar and all the events that were going to happen on Kauai, like football games or Air riflery matches. I even had re-edit the script that was assigned to me three times. That's the first reason why I thought the radio's were gonna be easy but turned out to be hard.
Another way how the radio looked easy but actually was hard was recording our voices. This was hard because if someone made a sound when you were not supposed to or when you couldn't pronounce the words correctly you would have to restart the sentence just to get the correct words. But another thing I found out was that you have to get the right sound of your voice. But I had to find that out the hard way. So when I submitted the radio and got the feed back I ended up sounding like a person who half awake. That's the second reason why the radio looked easy but actually was hard.
But the last way the radio looked easy was my schedule. Im not that good at my schedule. So I thought I had lots of time but reality I was really short on time. So when I found out I got deprived. So then I tried to find time to do it but you might realize that there aren't many openings when you try to do the radio. Thats why I thought the radio looked easy but actually wasn't because I was deprived of time.
So in realization of the radio I learned something. To never judge something by its cover. Or something bad could end up happening like how I thought the radio was easy but actually wasn't.
Hey guys I just saw the official movie trailer for secret life of pets. It was hilarious especially what the cat could not hold back on eating the turkey. Or when the dog turned on the blender and used it as a scratcher but fell off the counter. But thats not all, they used great mediums to show some action and to show some background so you get an idea of where the pets are at. I did not see any full on wides only some in between the medium and wides shots. Hope you guys get to see that video in the theaters, because again it looked like a hilarious movie.
Hey guys I just came back from the camping trip at the Kokee discovery center! I had a great time. We did lots of things like tug of war. But my top three memorial moments were when we played kickball, when we went night hiking, and when I was just hanging out with my classmates.
The reason why I like kickball, aside from the fact that it was just really fun in general, is because I kicked a home run. This made one of my memorial moments because whenever I played kickball in the past, the fence was really far back so you could not hit an actual home run over the fence. So this actually was my first home run! Also, seeing my teammate, Mr. M, beat Kaden, right after letting Kaden catch 3 of his awesome balls that he kicked into the outfield, was another reason playing kickball made my top 3 list. But once we switched teams, seeing Mr. M on a kickball rampage wasn't quite so much fun anymore. But in spite of this change of events, I still had tons of fun throughout this awesome game of kickball. That's why kickball made one of my top 3 memorial moments. (P.S. Mr. M: Good home run over my head).
Night hiking also made it as one of my top 3 memorial moments. The reason why this event made it to my top 3 memorial events list is because it was hilariously funny. The reason why it was hilariously funny is because I got to watch everyone getting scared. The only reason why I did not get scared is because I've done this night hike before, with the scouts, when I was younger. So this time around, I knew what to expect and just needed to wait for the pranks to start happening. When the pranks finally started, I just sat back and laughed. That's why the night hike made it into one of my top 3 memorial moments.
Finally, the last of my top 3 memorial moments is just hanging out with my classmates. This is because I got to know everyone better, and learned their names ... like Erik, or Kolten. But that's not all, or this wouldn't have made it into my top 3 memorial moments. The main reason why this made it into my top 3 memorial moments is because I got to play games with everyone ... like when I played Monopoly with Ben and won by a mile. I had a really good time having fun with Ben and I hope he felt the same too. I also enjoyed playing chess with Aron even though I got demolished multiple times. Playing all of these activities allowed me to know everyone's personality and traits better. That's why just hanging out with my fellow classmates made it as one of my top 3 memorial moments of the camp.
To sum it up, I had a great time with everyone at Kokee, and got to know everyone better through lots of activities like kickball, hiking (especially the night hike), and even, just hanging out with them. That is why these events all made it to my top 3 memorial moments of this camping trip at the Kokee Discovery Center.
Hey guys I just saw the Hotel Transalvania 2 movie trailer that comes out in 2016.It was one of the best movie trailers I've seen in a while. This is because they used great use of wide, medium, and close-up shots. They used good use of a wide shot to show when Mr.Frankanstine got caught on fire and went crazy and made 4 cabins also catch on fire. They used great use of mediums to show some characteristics but mostly to show the action that the characters did. Like when Dracula went to save his grandson when he threw him off a building to try to get him to fly. Then they used a very good use of close-ups to show the characters emotion, like when Dracula had to call in his dad to help him get his grandson to fly.Thats why I feel Hotel Transalvania 2 is the best movie trailer I've seen in a while.
Hi guys. For this weeks blog I get to go to Kokee Discovery Center! It's going to be an awesome trip. But at the trip to make it an awesome and to make it a successful trip I will, support other people when they need help, try to get comfortable with other people in the class, and listen to my fellow classmates advice carefully so I can use that in the future when I film or take shots.
First to make this a successful trip I will help other people when they need help. Like if they need help carrying something I would go over there and help them carry their gear. This will help them with what they need to do so they wont fall behind and can get their shots or what they need to do done. Then hopefully they will help other classmates when they need it. Then those classmates will also help other classmates and then the whole class will soon help each other when they need it and become like Ohana. Thats one way how I plan to make this a successful trip.
The second way I plan to make this a successful trip is by getting comfortable with other people. This will help me because by getting comfortable with other people I wont be afraid to ask for help because I can ask them without being afraid, to ask for help and this means I will be able to get a lot more done at the camp and lear way more. But because I will be more comfortable with other people and I can act more like their Ohana than friends in a class. Thats my second way I plan to make this a successful trip.
The last and final way I plan to make this a successful trip to Kokee is by listening to the advice my classmates give me. This will help me because when I listen instead of blowing them off or ignoring them I can get way more out of it by listening to them and letting them give me advice or examples on how do a certain task. This can help me on future project on how i could do something or just have multiple view points on how to do the task. Also when I listen to my fellow classmates they will feel like they were really helpful, which they probably will provide really helpful advice. Then because they feel helpful hopefully we will be able to become friends or achieve something close to the saying Ohana.
In conclusion the three ways I plan on how to make this a successful trip is by helping my fellow classmates when they need help and then we can become friends. The second way is to get comfortable with everyone in the class and be able to ask them questions or ask for advice when I want or need to, letting me become more like Ohana in the class towards them. the last reason is letting my classmates giving me advice making them feel good and allowing us achieve something close to Ohana. Those are the three reasons on how I plan to make this trip a successful one.
